“ T Hart van Boxtel is situated in perhaps the best location a restaurant or bar in the heart of Boxtel could wish for: right in the heart of the town, on the market square. The establishment seems to thrive mainly on the students of St. Lucas College: everything exudes the atmosphere of a traditional pub, where it can be quite lively late into the evening. But I was there for lunch. I opted for the club sandwich. With a fried egg, chicken breast, bacon, and chips, it was delicious and plentiful. I was less impressed with the beer prices. The menu only listed the selection, not the prices, and that showed. I paid €6 for a Tripel Karmeliet, and a Paix Dieu a whopping €7. That same week, I paid around €4.20 for the same glass. Therefore, not 5, but 4 stars. ”

“ Dog-friendly gem in the heart of Boxtel! When we walked into 't Hart van Boxtel, there wasn't a soul there yet, but we were immediately greeted warmly, in true Brabantian style . The young ladies working helped us kindly, quickly, and with a smile. And most importantly: Frenkie was immediately welcomed! He got immediate attention and a bowl of water. What more could a dog want? We enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and a few beers . Because we're still exploring Boxtel (we're even exploring whether we want to live here ), we were given some helpful information about the village and the surrounding area. Super welcoming! We were there on a Saturday afternoon and heard that on Friday evenings it's transformed into a night out for young people. It's not really our thing (we're getting older too), but we honestly think it's a really great concept! In short: cozy, welcoming, and dog-friendly. Definitely worth popping in!
